i hope you guys had a smooth and uneventful flight to greece. you didn't try to pack the saber, did you? :-)
new format, as in, GINORMOUS photos format. click here for the slideshow.
katie and anne did an amazing job coordinating for soiree st. louis . incredible flowers by sisters flowers. hair, makeup, cake and catering by the superbly talented staff at the chase park plaza. fabulous music by the joe bozzi band.

i spent last night discovering new sources of eye candy on the south side with the fabulous carrie + brent, who will get hitched in april. woohoo!
doesn't this look like an old adobe building in santa fe? NOPE! word to the south side. carrie and brent found this exploring near their neighborhood one day and had to send me a photo. there is no floor in this thing and the ground around it feels super unstable. but it is SOOOOOOOOOO cool.

more crazy cool industrial madness...

we found a metal tube storage yard along the way. i died and went to rusty picture-making heaven. the piles of scrap metal way across the field were calling my name. kid in a candy store, i tell you.

and i spotted this scene earlier in the day as adam and i were coming home from the record crowd attracting st. louis arch obama rally. SCORE!

around the corner from the old car...

and check out carrie and brent's gorgeous house!

These turned out amazing--you're a genius, Becca. Also, we had so much fun! The ones with that old car shell are so cool. I'm glad you spotted it.
(10.19.08)Dude, do they live in the Square? So freaking jealous, reagrdless...
Awesome shots, of course.
Love the blog - hope you don't mind that I featured you on mine today :) You have a new fan!
(10.22.08)OMG! Love their house. Can you tell my sister and I are related?!
And I have so done that tube thing (only with a cannon!). Great minds think alike, Becca!

mallorie and adam flew in from boston for their westendtastic e-shoot. we met at the fountain at maryland plaza and wandered around a bit before popping into design within reach. we did some more meandering through back alleys and crowded sidewalk cafes... mallorie has the most radiant smile.

i LOVE this series...

and THIS ONE rolling down art hill...

mallorie and adam, it was such a pleasure to meet and photograph you! we can't wait for your wedding next year!
I love, love, love your blog! Congrats on being featured on typepad. When you have time please stop by my blog and say hello!
Debra
(10.12.08)Becca, I just wanted to thank you. Not to say Mallorie isn't photogenic (because she is), but these are the first pictures that capture Mallorie the way I see her.
(10.12.08)Oh my gosh - I can't believe you got them to roll down that hill! I suggested this at a similar hill by me to a couple and they just chuckled... oh well! Maybe next time ;) These are awesome and this couple looks like they were made for each other -- super cute :)
(10.12.08)Mal and Adam- these pictures are great! I think Becca did an amazing job of capturing your personalities- I love it! Hope you had fun in St. L over the weekend. Looking forward to the wedding festivities- less than a year away! Mal, I love you lady!! Congratulations :)
(10.14.08)Oh! I've always wanted to roll down Art Hill!
I have to know- did they yell, "AS YOU WIIIIIIISH!" as they rolled?
we had been looking forward to andrea and gerrit's big day for a long time. they had a grittastic engagement session awhile back and being that andrea is an interior designer, i knew the details would be fab. they did not disappoint!
despite a few small glitches on their big day, andrea and gerrit kept on smiling. the ceremony took place at the world's fair pavilion in forest park. the reception was at lumiere place hotel.
ah, the glorious details! check out this whopper of a fall wedding inspiration board. i see these all the time on other wedding blogs and figured this could be a super helpful thing for those of you in the planning stages. check out the uber-creative place settings that andrea put together using an iron-on veneer. i also love the jack-o-lantern centerpieces.

look at those sexy legs!

and inside the crazy cool soulard market lofts...

what a classic beauty!

i LOVE this moment.

i can't remember which bridesmaid first hopped up on this lower part of the bridge, but what a brave soul in those shoes (which are AWESOME, btw)!

i also love the choice of khaki for the guys.

poor andrea had to climb up the shiestiest "stairs" (and i use the term loosely) and had to walk the plank, really, to get to this spot, but it was oh so worth it.

Love love love love love
ring shot: awesome
shoes: I'm a sucker every time - how on earth did they find different styles in the same color?!
detail shots, group shots, etc.
All fab! Good work as always
I LOVE these! You guys are awesome :) Can't wait to see them all!!!
(10.07.08)thanks for commenting liz and lissy! lissy, how did you guys coordinate the shoes?
(10.08.08)They were from the Jessica Simpson Line & some girls wore a pair Andrea picked out at Payless (dyables). The Jessica simpson ones were the donora & Dover pumps. ***Warning***My legs still hurt :)
(10.08.08)these are great guys! I love the ones of the bride crying at the ceremony, makes me tear up a little...I have a question -- what are that tiny bride and groom? cake toppers? they look super tiny, unless the bride and groom had big fingers... hehe
(10.08.08)hi caitlin! thanks for visiting! the bride and groom came from a toy catapult i bought at our local art store.
(10.08.08)You guys are amazing! I cried when I saw the shot of Will and I!! Despite everything you caught some really great moments!! Huge pat on the back!!
