would you ever guess in your wildest dreams that there would exist a non-smoking pub? we have one in the 'lou!  go check out newstead tower public house in the grove.  not only are they smoke-free, but they also source ingredients for their yummy sandwiches and entrees locally.  yeah!

Candace Prokopets:

Oh my gosh!! Way to represent STL! I am from STL originally but am currently living in the San Francisco Bay Area. My husband and I are starting our own photography business as well. I went and took a look at the pictures. They are fabulous. Way to get STL on the map for wedding photography.

i spent last night discovering new sources of eye candy on the south side with the fabulous carrie + brent, who will get hitched in april.  woohoo!

doesn't this look like an old adobe building in santa fe?  NOPE!  word to the south side.  carrie and brent found this exploring near their neighborhood one day and had to send me a photo.  there is no floor in this thing and the ground around it feels super unstable.  but it is SOOOOOOOOOO cool.

more crazy cool industrial madness...

we found a metal tube storage yard along the way.  i died and went to rusty picture-making heaven.  the piles of scrap metal way across the field were calling my name.  kid in a candy store, i tell you.

and i spotted this scene earlier in the day as adam and i were coming home from the record crowd attracting st. louis arch obama rally.  SCORE!

around the corner from the old car...

and check out carrie and brent's gorgeous house!

These turned out amazing--you're a genius, Becca. Also, we had so much fun! The ones with that old car shell are so cool. I'm glad you spotted it.

OMG! Love their house. Can you tell my sister and I are related?!

And I have so done that tube thing (only with a cannon!). Great minds think alike, Becca!

mallorie and adam flew in from boston for their westendtastic e-shoot.  we met at the fountain at maryland plaza and wandered around a bit before popping into design within reach.  we did some more meandering through back alleys and crowded sidewalk cafes... mallorie has the most radiant smile.

Becca, I just wanted to thank you. Not to say Mallorie isn't photogenic (because she is), but these are the first pictures that capture Mallorie the way I see her.

Caitlin:

Oh my gosh - I can't believe you got them to roll down that hill! I suggested this at a similar hill by me to a couple and they just chuckled... oh well! Maybe next time ;) These are awesome and this couple looks like they were made for each other -- super cute :)

Oh! I've always wanted to roll down Art Hill!
I have to know- did they yell, "AS YOU WIIIIIIISH!" as they rolled?

adam and i had a fab post-workout breakfast at the freshly opened crepes in the city.  if the name sounds familiar, it's because they used to have a little station inside of washington ave. post.  they relocated to their own space around the corner and it rocks.  the decor is soothing and gorgeous and they have a lovely patio.  scoot on over before winter hits.  their website hasn't been updated yet, but the new location is on 14th at washington, right by lucas park.

stay tuned for mallorie and adam's e-shoot, which will happen this evening.
