my dad has gone scanning-crazy lately.  this came to my inbox a few days ago.  that's me in grandma dodo and grandpa charlie's bus, i'm guessing sometime around 1981.  do you dig my visor or what? 

i love this picture, but it also makes me sad.  next week, adam and i will drive down to florida with my parents to see grandma dodo and grandpa charlie.  grandma dodo has stage IV skin cancer and this will likely be the last time i see her.

the idea of getting old terrifies me and i don't like goodbyes.
